Great Times in Cheektowaga!!!

Collin was so excited that we came to visit. We had a wonderful time in Western New York with Travis, Stephanie, and Collin. Thank you so much for the great tours, the entertainment, the food, and the good weather. We had a really marvelous time. We so enjoyed visiting and getting to know Collin better. We loved the road trips.

On the way to Letchworth State Park. It is suppose to be the Grand Canyon of the East. Well, I think we have it beat as far as BIG. But they by far have us beat in the GREEN department. Also the waterfalls weren't too shabby either. We saw lots of wildlife and some wilddead (due to a little misshap with a squirrel in the road).

Everyone is having a great time!

We enjoyed the beautiful parks around Buffalo and Cheektowaga. We also enjoyed meeting people from the Buffalo Ward as well as other dental students and their family.

Outing with Collin in Delaware Park in Buffalo. What a nice day and picnic lunch we had. Collin had a good time also.

This is Cheektowaga Park and we are there to have FHE/BBQ. When good weather comes everyone enjoys the out-of-doors. It was lovely weather


Travis and Ryan Carter enjoyed keeping the seagulls away from the food while practicing their football throwing skills. Good thing they are going to be dentists and not quarterbacks.

On to Palmyra! What a wonderful trip that was. Our first stop was the Hill Cummorah. We had to stop for some photo opps and to speculate on where the plates were buried. We also checked out the visitors center.

What would be a trip to Buffalo without visiting Niagra Falls. This is the view from the American side.

There is Canada in the background and the horseshoe falls. It was our first rainy day besides the day that we flew in. But when you visit the falls who cares if it is raining because there is so much mist created by the falls. Good day to go!

Magnificant! It is amazing the feelings you have as you look over and and realize the power there is right beside you. There are certainly a lot of wonders in the world and this is a great one.

Of course we had to go check out the gift shop there in the background. And as if it wasn't chilly enough, we got ice cream.

But this little guy was the reason we went and we surely enjoyed spending time with him. Oh, and it wasn't bad spending time with his parents also.





And they are great parents!
